Manager Spotlight: HRulez

The first manager to step into the spotlight here on Site of Scandinavia is someone that we all love to hate and hate that we love. He IS the current Smacktalk Champion of Scandinavia and he will probably be nominated every time the award comitee gathers. He smacks and smacks relentlesly and you can't stop him. He used to be known as Hasan Rulez, but now he goes by the name HRulez.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a 25 year old accountant, working for the 5th year with Deloitte &
Touche in Fredericia. I've been living here in Fredericia with my girlfriend
for the last 3 years, though we've been together longer. I'm originally from
the Island of Fyn. Therefore I enjoy very much to go see football when "our"
team is playing, OB.

How did you get in contact with WeBL and when did you start playing?

I got to know this game via a coworker, and friend (Pitypart), who also
got The Magnificent Slaughterhouse to join, all working the same place......
(well, now they transferred to Kolding, and I'm still in Fredericia!). I've
played for about an year now, with no really breaks (this game is addictive,
a LOT!).

Why do you like it?

I just love this game, 'cause of the different aspects in it. U can do
smack, u can do fp's until fall around dead. The People in it makes everyone
welcomed, so to say. I can always find someone to "play" with in press, and
help in the forums, u can discuss different things, such as other games. I
try to play/use every aspect of the game, though smack is my favourite.

Tell us a little about your gym.

My gym started out with the originally name "Jakob's Gym", but soon I
changed it too Hasan Rulez, this was due to the fact a lot of violence in
Voldsmose and a little here in Fredericia. And just reasonly changed the
name to HRulez, which I probably will stick with.

I've like to manage boxers in all weightclasses, but I've have had a few
problems with heavyweight, but at the moment I seem to have a few up there,
which I've got confident in.

Besides that I've just started to (try to) manage dancers and Sissy's, but
my favorite boxer is still the type that can knock out every kind of
boxer.... sluggers. At the moment I've actually enjoy managing 1 agl
sluggers.... which r doing pretty good against rest of Scandinavia.

I dont pay much attention to numbers (at least not in here), that is unless
I'm in top of the rankings :-) Therefore I also have had a few very
experimental fighters....

How many active fighters do you have?

At the moment I have about 20-25 , I guess, but I've just cut it down
from about 40+. Lack of motiviation to manage 'em all.

How many fight plans do you write per week?

None.... actually I write about 1 per week, rest I find in Standard-fp's.
'Cause when managing the same kind of fighter, that gives u the advantage of
only knoing a few different fp.

Tell us about your first title fight.

My first titelfight was with a gift from Pitypart, Erik "Cashcow"
Sonderskov, as I recall it I was a newbie, but had talked with Pity about a
good fightplan, I came with my suggestions, and he gave his opinion, it was
a great victory..... But it gave me more pleasure to win the title with
Hasan er dd.... "own" first titleholder!

Best fighter you've managed.

What goes for earnings it must be Erik, se above, but what goes for
potential, I would say it is TjommeIBeatTheCrapOutOfU, that he can reach the
top.... but hopefully he can pass Erik, in status and in earnings.

Best manager/fighter you've fought.

Well, there is a though one, Scandinavia has a lot of excellent fighters,
and I've had my diffeculties with managers like FlatOut (doing extremly
well, with his dancers), and others like LM, LGD, Gazza, and Punch. Actually
my figthers also hate to fight Team Svinehunden, 'cause of the bad matchupo
between those types of fighters.

What's your strengths as a manager?

Strenght? Hmmmm, I do good with sluggers with KP, but besides that I'm
doing really well in Smack (won 2 awards! and been gagged twice!)

Which gyms do you think are the best in scandinavia?

See answer number 9. But to sum 'em up: FlatOut, LGD, LM, Pitypart,
Punch, Umea (if he comes back!) and a lot of other guys. (Anfield is not
mentioned 'cause I've got a positive h2h against the man!).

Which gyms do you think are the best worldwide?

I dont pay mucvh attention worldwide, but The Prod, must be the best,
but I think all of the guys mentioned in number 11 has the potential to be
called the best of WeBL. My own favorite is Umea and Punch, Yes they'll
probably gone quote this in PR.... But let 'em

Which new gyms do you think will go far?

I know all the Aggerud gyms will do well in the future, perhaps they
have the potential for a WC, but only time will know, besides that it is not
very often I see good newbies..... I usually scare 'em away in PR.

How does the future look for your gym?

The future for my gym... hmmmm... guess it will be at the same size,
perhaps just with better fighter (same fighters, just gained more APs and
Status.... hope to win a lot more regional titels to come!)

Any advice to newbies?

Read the helppages, not that I have.... lol

Final words.

I'm honoured that so many managers have named a fighter after my gym,
that is one of my greatest achievements in WeBL. That is nice to see.
